Trip Introduction

Annapurna circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary trek - 21 Days:

"The Best Trekking holiday package in Nepal"

One of the most valuable trekking adventures in the Himalayan region of Goddess Annapurna, the Annapurna Circuit Trek is a classic journey that starts from lush green forests and fertile fields, gradually leading to desert-like terrains. This trek offers a variety of spectacular Annapurna mountain ranges along with vivid cultural experiences, including crossing Thorong La Pass (5,416m), the highest point of the trek. The scenic and rewarding trail also allows trekkers to visit the spiritual retreat of Muktinath Temple and enjoy a scenic drive through the Kali Gandaki Valley, the deepest gorge in the world, before relaxing in the natural hot springs at Tatopani.

The Annapurna Sanctuary is regarded as the sacred valley of the Hindu Goddess Annapurna. It is also known as the source of rivers and one of the best mountain regions for a spiritual retreat. This route takes you through the most popular trekking trails in the Annapurna region, including Ghorepani Poonhill and the breathtaking Annapurna Base Camp (ABC).

The combined Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is a precious trekking itinerary that guarantees a once-in-a-lifetime trekking holiday, making it a must-do trek for those who truly wish to experience a trekking paradise in Nepal.

Traditionally, both the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek and the Annapurna Circuit Trek took at least 30–32 days before road connections reached different parts of the region up until 2008. As of 2025, the road extends from Besisahar to Manang, Muktinath to Tatopani, and even to the ending part of the ABC trek after Jhinu Danda. With these road connections, both famous treks can now be completed in about 21 days.

Main Highlights of Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Why is this trek so important for trekkers?

First of all, this trek is not just a holiday tour, it is a journey of religious retreat, cultural variation, and more than just the Annapurna mountains. The trek starts in one place and ends in another without repeating the previous route, except for the last section from Chhomrong to ABC and back to Chhomrong (5 days). This trek also covers a historical visit to Kathmandu, the old heritage sites of Nepal, and the most beautiful tourist city, Pokhara.

This itinerary saves your money and time because it combines three must-do treks of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which is the second most famous trekking trail of Nepal.

Who can do or join this trek?

Anyone aged between 10 years to 85 years who is physically fit and ready to explore altitudes from 800m to 5,416m, including the moderate trek to ABC at 4,130m. Anyone who enjoys daily walking for 4 hours to a maximum of 8–9 hours (average walk of 5–6 hours daily) while enjoying photographs and views can join this trek.

Best season for this trek

Nepal offers 4 weather seasons: winter, spring, summer, and autumn. The best months are from mid-September to mid-December (autumn/winter) and March to mid-June (spring/summer).

Why Trek the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary with Us?

Below are the six main reasons we are known as the best trekking service providing local company based in Kathmandu, Nepal, and we 100% assure our best quality trekking service to all our valued customers.

1. Quality of Lodges/Guest Houses and Hotels
We always accommodate our valuable customers in standard-quality lodges along the trek where one can get a hot shower, clean beds, and attached bathrooms as mentioned in the itinerary. We make sure to choose the best accommodations for our customers’ comfort and safety. We accommodate at least 3-star category hotels with breakfast, attached bathrooms, and quality hospitality service.

2. Quality of Food During Trek
Hygienic and fresh food is always our first priority for our customers, and we always make sure of it while you are on trek with us. We select teahouses or guest houses along the trail based on hygiene and the quality of fresh food for your meals. This is a very important aspect of life, especially when trekking in high-altitude mountains. We always take the best care of our customers’ safety and health.

Our company is not only concerned about the quality of food we serve but also about the quantity. We always encourage our clients to select their own choice of unlimited meals and drinks on the trek.

Unlimited Foods & Drinks:
Unlike many other cheaper trekking operators, we never provide limited food and drinks during the trek. In fact, you will be served unlimited fresh, hygienic, and energetic meals and hot drinks three times a day. Most cheap packages include very limited food and drinks, which are not enough for a high mountain trek. You need adequate unlimited meals and hot drinks of your own choice, and that is what our company serves during the trek. This provides a best added value to trek with us.

Self-Choice of Meals Every Day:
Not only do we serve unlimited meals and drinks, but you are also free to select your own choice of meals. You can have vegetarian meals, non-vegetarian meals, or any choice from the food menu at each lodge every day of the trek. This facility may not be available with all other companies, so these two factors are very important to consider before booking a trekking company in Nepal.

3. Quality Trekking Service by Professional & Experienced SHERPA Guides & Porters
Our SHERPA guides and porters always take very good care of your trekking holiday. They walk with you and provide accurate information during the trek. Their main concern is always your health and well-being. Our guides and porters are fully expert in trekking and climbing. Arrangements of quality lodges, food, drinks, and attention to health issues are always a serious concern for our guides and porters. They will not leave you alone, as many guides sometimes walk ahead or behind without proper care. Our guides always make sure three important issues are professionally managed during the trek:

  • Quality of food, drinking water, and accommodation

  • Condition of the trail and weather

  • Health issues of trekkers

4. Safety and Security Are Our Prime Concern & Quick Contact in Emergency
For us, the safety and security of our customers is always the prime concern. Without safety, we do not organize trips, especially in the Himalayas. Health and safety are always our first priority, and our guides are fully aware of it. In case of any emergency during the trek, we take the matter very seriously and stay in touch with our guides throughout the trek.

5. Flexible Itinerary
Trekking itineraries in mountain regions cannot always be fixed. Sometimes, for various reasons, it is necessary to change or customize the itinerary. In this case, our guides and porters are fully flexible to make necessary changes as per your request using their knowledge. Based on weather conditions, client health, or other unavoidable situations in the mountains, we are flexible to make last-minute or emergency changes. Terms and conditions may apply, but we always accommodate necessary changes.

6. Well-Paid Wages & Insured Guides and Porters
At NETTA, we treat our staff, Sherpa guides, and porters very well. They work hard to make our customers’ journeys wonderful. Without their care, hard work, and excellent service, your trip would not be successful. That’s why we provide high wages and facilities to our Sherpa guides, porters, and trekking/climbing staff.
