EVEREST TREKS NEPAL- "The king of all Trekking in the world"

Situated in Solukhumbu district, province-1 and Sagarmatha zone of Nepal, Everest is named as Sagarmatha in Nepali, which means- Forehead of the Sky, chomolungma in Tibetan which means- Mother Goddess of the Universe and later in 1865, Sir George Everest, Surveyor General of India named it EVEREST. first time in history, in 29 may 1953, Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Norgay reached at top of Mount Everest and since that time, trekking in mount Everest and other worlds highest mountains are open for trekking and Climbing in Nepal.

Since worlds highest mountain, Everest is Named as Sagarmatha in Nepali Language, among 14 Zones of Nepal, one zone is named as Sagarmatha Zone and the main Himalayan region of Everest is marked inside Sagarmatha National park which was Established in 1976 and was first National park of Nepal. This National park is home of legendary Sherpas and home of rare species like Snow leopard, musk deer and red panda. This national park covers area of 1148 km2 and altitude above 2845m to 8848m. This national park is main gateway for all Treks in Everest region of Nepal.

Solukhumbu district is main trekking hub of all Everest treks of Nepal which is divided into two trekking areas- Khumbu Everest region and lower Everest region (Solu). Lukla Airport is main gateway for all trekking package of Everest including worlds famous Everest base camp trek and climbing south side of Mount Everest and many other trekking peaks like Island peak, Lobuche peak or Mera peak. Khumbu valley offers two main trekking areas in Everest National park- Gokyo valley and Everest Basecamp valley, this both areas are connected with a popular high pass- Cho la pass. Namche Bazaar located at 3440m altitude is main Sherpa’s home land with finest trekking lodges and guest house is main village where trekkers must take two days of Acclimatization for Altitude sickness, from Namche one trail goes direct to Everest base camp trekking trail or trail of famous Island peak and lobuche peak and other. Gokyo ri is another famous trekking trail in Everest region which connects EBC via chola pass.

There are 3 high passes covers all Everest trekking packages in khumbu valley of Everest, the 3 high passes are Renjo la pass, Chola pass, Kongma La pass and all these 3 high passes are above 5300m and Everest high pass trek is one of the most demanding and lifetime trekking Experience in Sagarmatha national park of Everest.
