The trek to Gokyo lake or gokyo ri takes another trekking trail after Namche to Mong la, Dole, Machhermo and reach Gokyo lake, which is located at 4750m above sea level. We will enjoy exceptional views of Kantega, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku on the way and see first sights of Cho Oyo and pass striking waterfalls before reaching upper Dole Valley.
One of the significant days of the trek is passing Gokyo Ri. You will be overwhelmed after seeing the colour blue after seeing the stunning views of Gokyo Lakes. We will also pass Gokyo RI lying at an elevation of 4750m. We will further move through Pangka and then to the messy, deadly moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier - the biggest glacier in Nepal. As we reach at Gokyo Peak we will be rewarded by four 8000-metre gigantic- Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyo, and Makalu as well as numerous other lofty peaks including Gyachung Kang, Taweche, Cholatse, and Kangchung. On your way back, you will also get to witness amazing panorama of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Khangtaiga and more. We will move crossways via bridge over Dudh Koshi River, and have a vertical climb all the way through pine and juniper woods, to enter Tengboche where we will see Tengboche Monastery too.

In this worst case, you have option to fly with sharing helicopter (5 passenger in one helicopter), it cost US$ 400-500. You will refund the full amount of Lukla flight fares if flight is cancelled because of bad weather. We also can reschedule your flight for next day if you don’t want to pay extra to fly out by sharing helicopter.
