Trip Introduction

Luxury Everest base camp Helicopter Trek-12 days: "Experience of trek & helicopter tour"

Maximum distance cover: 58 km( LUKLA- PHAKDING- NAMCHE- DEBOCHE- DINGBOCHE- LOBUCHE- GORAKSHEP)

What is the Luxury Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek?

Luxury Everest base camp helicopter trek is one of the most luxurious trekking adventures for those who want to spend all nights in luxury lodges and hotels during the entire trip. Once you reach your dream point (Everest base camp, 5346m) and successfully summit Kalapattar ( 5550m) to see the closest views of Mount Everest, Pumori, and other mountains, you will fly down to Lukla by helicopter. Instead of walking back to Lukla, which would take another 4 days, you will ride a helicopter from Gorakshep and fly out to Lukla. You will save time and money, and you will also get a once-in-a-lifetime experience by flying with a helicopter around the high mountains of Everest and the Himalayas. This is one of our best-prepared itineraries, which we named Luxury. Everest base camp helicoptor trek starts from Kathmandu with 30 minutes of panoramic mountain views by aeroplane to Tenjing Hillary Airport, Lukla (one of the busiest airports in Nepal). Our trekking adventure now begins with a minimum of 4 hours of walking through different Sherpa villages and along the Dudhkoshi River via Phakding to Monjo, where we reach the famous Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar. In order to complete the Everest base camp helicopter trek without altitude sickness, two acclimatisation days are necessary, and we have our first acclimatisation day at Namche Bazaar (3440 m) and our second acclimatisation day at Dingboche (4350 m) before we proceed for our dream trip to Everest base camp (5346 m) and Kalapattar( m). The mountain views from Kalapattar (5,550 m) are more spectacular than the scenery from Everest base camp itself. The main view points of this trek are Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep, Kalapattar, and Everest base camp. After the Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek, instead of following the same route back to Lukla as the Normal Everest Base Camp Trek, you will fly directly back to Lukla from Gorakshep (5200m) by private helicopter; thus, this trek is named the Luxury Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trek.

What are the benefits of an Everest base camp helicopter trek?

This trek is beneficial for those who wish to make a dream trip to Everest base camp within a short timeframe and for those who wish to have a comfort trek without following the same way-down trekking route to Lukla. We also organise budget helicopter Everest base camp treks with a 12-day helicopter Everest base camp trek itinerary that is one of the best budget options, using the best available lodges on the entire Everest Trail and a 5-star hotel in Kathmandu. If one of these 12-day Everest base camp helicopter treks is out of your timeframe or budget, we also have a 7-day comfort Everest view trek and an Everest helicopter tour package, which is one of the most economical, short, and best Everest base camp helicopter trek packages at NETTA. Join one of these helicopter treks in the Everest region of Nepal with NETTA and experience the trip of a lifetime with us; we guarantee the best service at the best price.

For those luxurious trekkers, who do have a very short timeframe and are looking for one of the shortest luxury treks to base camp of Everest in 10 days of timeframe, we have a 10 day superior Everest base camp trek by helicopter, which is the most unique, super luxury hotel and lodge trek by private helicopter round trip from Kathmandu to Namche, a safe trek to EBC and Kalapattar, and then a direct helicopter flight to Kathmandu.

Why is a luxury Everest base camp helicopter return trek so precious?

Luxury Everest base camp trek return by helicopter is also known as the Luxury Lodges Everest Base Camp Trek because we will stay overnights at the BEST comfortable luxury lodges such as Yeti Mountain Home at Lukla, Phakding, and Namche. We will also use the best available lodges in other trek places, with hot showers, boiled water, and as comfortable an accommodation as possible for your safety and comfort. During this trek, you will stay at the Hotel Dwarika or Hotel Marriott (both TOP 5 stars) in Kathmandu and at the best lodges while trekking up to Mount Everest Base Camp, using a helicoptor to fly to Lukla, and taking a regular flight to Kathmandu. This is the most comfortable way to trek in the Everest region of Nepal. This 12-day luxury lodge trek to Everest base camp by helicopter is one of the most specialised trek packages in Nepal trekking tourism and adventure (NETTA). If this luxury Everest base camp trek by helicopter is not in your budget, you are most welcome to join our regular 16-day Everest base camp trek.

Due to your very busy schedule and the fact that you never have time for a 12-day luxury trek to EBC and return by helicopter or a 10-day superior Everest base camp trek, or you dont have even enough holiday for a 7-day Everest view and helicopter Everest base camp trek, you still may have time for one short and optional tour to see Mount Everest, which is a day tour around Everest base camp and Kalapattar by helicopter, which is about a 4-hour day tour from Kathmandu, and you need a minimum of 3-4 people to charter a private helicopter to take you to Kalapattar, which is a day tour around Everest view and other panoramic mountains in the Everest region of Nepal. Here are more details about a one-day Everest helicopter tour, and you may enjoy it. For a cheaper price on this tour, it is better to make your own private group of at least 4 people or more.
