Everest High Pass 23-days trek designed by Nepal Trekking Tourism & Adventure is one of the challenging trek in Everest region as you need to pass three high passes - Kongma La (5,535m), Cho La (5420m) as well as Renjo La (5,338m). During the trek you will be rewarded by the breathtaking vistas of gigantic mountains and scenic natural beauty. Also, you will get to see various floras pine, hemlock, fir, juniper, rhododendron woods as well as various wild lives of the Sagarmatha National park. Besides, Everest High Pass Trek will let you notice the striking culture, villages, and monasteries.
We will begin our trek as we fly to Lukla (2780m). We will move through a stunning pine forest setting next to Dudh Koshi River. Alongside, the stunning sight of Mt. Everest, Nuptse- Lhotse ridge will wholly arrest you while walking to an affluent trading and administrative settlement Namche Bazar. We will also pass by Dingboche which is in fact an arresting hodgepodge of small fields surrounded by stone walls. Besides, we will trek to Ama Dablam base camp which rewards us with splendid views of different peaks including Ama Dablam. Plus, we will notice the towering southern part of Lhotse, Island Peak in the central side of the valley and other anonymous peaks before trekking to Chhukung Ri lying at 5546m.
Furthermore, we will walk over Khangmala pass lying at 5535m which is the highest pass of the trek which rewards us with great views of Island peak valley as well as rough edge of Amphu Lapcha. The walk to Everest Base Camp will be unforgettable experiences as the magnificent beauty of the massive peaks as well as Khumbu Icefall will completely captivate you. We will also ascend to Chola pass lying at an altitude of 5420m letting you see prayer flags, hanged up across cairns, fluttering in the strong wind. And definitely the breathtaking scenery of grandiose peaks is hypnotic. To mark the well-liked and exceptional view, we go up to Gokyo Ri as well. It is located at an altitude of 5350 m which reward you with stunning views of Cho Oyu, Gyanchung King, Lhotse, Everest, Makalu, Tawache, Cholatse, and many more. Another fascinating part of the trek is to reach Renjo La which presents the views of gigantic Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Tawoche etc.

Today, in Namche Bazaar, we will take rest in order to acclimatize with the elevation of (3,440m). We will walk above the Imja Khola and traverse the old glacial moraines to reach Dingboche. We will walk for approximately 4 hours to reach Dingboche. The setting is extraordinary here while the vistas of Everest are hidden at the backside of the Lhotse-Nuptse edge; and we will also observe the gigantic peaks that go up over the eastern end valley. On this day, we will walk over Khangmala pass lying at 5535m which is the highest pass of the trek. We will get a chance to enjoy the seclusion of the area and supreme natural landscape. We can notice great views of Island peak valley as well as rough edge of Amphu Lapcha. As we ascend all along the east side of Niyang Khola valley, we will turn west and walk via the stony way. We cross the threshold of a wide basin spread with small frozen lakes. The path rises over the Kongma La and we can see cairn enveloped in prayer flags. The path makes way up to the edge of Gokyo Ri above the northwest corner. We lead down from the Gokyo Valley and separating from the main track and go round to Renjo La track by Dudh Pokhari. I and Mike got home safely. I want to thank you for organizing our trek so professionally the organization was perfect and I had an absolutely enjoyable experience. Our Guide Rinjee was one of the best Guides/sirdars I have trekked within the last 25 years. He was very attentive to our needs at all times. He selected excellent tea houses and lodges. He was very flexible and helped us with suggestions when we wanted to change the itinerary a little bit.
