My Journey of Mindful Awakening and Enlightenment

Michael R Gieske - United States,  05 May, 2021 pqPasang Sherpa was an amazing director and host. I did this trip solo, as the pandemic made it difficult to find others willing to go. The airports were a bit daunting at times, but once the planes touched down and the guides/drivers, Mukea and Tendi, greeted me at the airport with each flight, I was embraced with a special attention and expertise. I approached this trip with the intention to learn of Buddhism, Hinduism, and the Eastern Philosophy, on a journey of physical challenge and spiritual enlightenment and I was not disappointed! I spent a fair amount of time visiting monasteries, temples, nunneries and sacred sites; very moving and inspirational. This collective experience helped to propel me up the mountains when my body pushed back. My guide and porter, Nuru and Karme, were amazing! They paid very special attention to me and made sure I was taken care of at every bend. They were very patient with me as my age, 60, seemed to impact me more than I had anticipated. I made all the summits, finding Nagarjun Hill especially grueling, but worth the view and sense of accomplishment at the top. I will forever treasure the contributions Nuru and Karme made toward making this special trip so memorable. And how lucky we were that the world#39;s highest Irish Pub opened the day we arrived in Namche Bazar!!br / Pasang tailored the trip exactly to my liking; he seemed to just know what my interests and intentions were. He even knew when to build in periods of rest and breaks; though I am an ambitious traveler and adventurer, there were times when some downtime was quite welcome. Pasang was a tremendous help with all the covid testing, etc., as well. The resorts I stayed at, the Dwarika in Kathmandu, and the Temple Tree in Pokhara, were the most incredible experiences all by themselves and would highly recommend both. My guide Roger in Pokhara was quite kind and special as well. He even jumped into the frigid Lake Fewa when our boat wedged on a rock. He treated me to a lovely dinner with Dal Bhat, at his home with his family.br / The helicopter ride was a highlight, from Gorakshep to Lukla, saving me the several day hike back, well worth the nominal fee. The heated mattress pads were a godsend; I was not prepared for how cold the teahouses can be, especially at the higher elevations. I was delighted with each accommodation, understanding that some of the luxuries we are used to became more scant as the elevation progressively increased. The food everywhere was fantastic; I very much enjoyed the Nepalese ethnic cuisine but have to admit the beer and pizza on occasion hit the spot! I was fortunate not to get any signs of altitude sickness and would recommend Diamox.br / Pasang and Tendi even helped me to shop for a buddha statue for my shrine I look forward to creating in my home. The special touches and tailored care and attention cannot be overemphasized. I found it a bit humorous when I ran into another American on a similar expedition with a very large agency and group. He could not believe I was doing the trip solo and stated that the large company was invaluable in assuring everything went right. There is nothing that could have been better with NETTA and the individual attention I received; I’m certain the special touches and customized care and itinerary I experienced could not possibly have been done with a large group./q/p

well organized biking tour

The first day is bit hard and long but the ride was beautiful. the second and third day rides were very nice too. Janga is very friendly and kind guide. The hotels we stayed are great. the whole trip organization was very nice. In the end, we had a very nice trip. We booked their Luxury Everest base camp trek which is one of the best trekking we had in life. It’s truly a luxury trek in Nepal, based on quality of hotels and lodges, their price was just reasonable and they have met all our requirements and expectations. Whatever they promise in their service, they delivered us flawlessly./p pthey have booked Luxury hotel Dwarika in Kathmandu and all best luxury lodges (YMH) and best selected lodges along the trail of Everest base camp. Our Sherpa guide Lhakpa sona Sherpa was best guide for us and treated us like royal family, our porter Nima Sherpa was very friendly and helpful young porter, both guide and porter took best care of our accommodation, foods, drinking water and our health. Our well-being is always their main concern. They always make sure that we should have most comfortable trekking with them./p pFrom the arrival day in Kathmandu to until last day of departure from Kathmandu, Pasang took care of all Transports, trek permits, local flight to Lukla and return. When our flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla is cancelled due to weather, Pasang Immediately arrange Helicopter ride to Kathmandu, that was fantastic service, we appreciate that. So, from the beginning of communication to until the end of trip, everything went fantastic, it’s because of local expert Sherpa team of Pasang and his Sherpa staffs. They always care every small detail when you are in Nepal. Without any hesitation I can say that, Nepal trekking Tourism adventure is best trekking company in Nepal and would highly recommend this company to anyone trekking or travel to Nepal. Excellent Ghorepani Poon hill trek

He gave all answers to our questions before we plan a perfect trek with him. The Female guide Dolma sherpa is very professional guide and taught us many things about Nepalese cultures and religions. Our porter Ram is excellent and a genuine person. Despite of very cold in January, we had great weather at top of Poon hill and we saw all the mountains. the lodges are perfect in trek and we had great homestay accommodation in Kathmandu which is beautiful house of Pasang and his family- a href=https://www.sherpasweethome.comsherpa sweet home/a, we had great time with their family in their house. overall we had a perfect 10 days in Nepal with my wife. we like to join pasang and his company Nepal trekking tourism again for another great trek in Nepal soon.
